Rebeca & Jorge’s Intimate Lakeside Wedding in Ajijic, Mexico | Marion Photography

Nestled on the shores of Lake Chapala in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, Rebeca & Jorge’s civil wedding unfolded an amazing event, surrounded by their closest family and friends. This isn’t your typical big venue event, it was a day brimming with personalization and charm, perfectly reflecting their unique love story.

A Lakeside Ceremony with DIY Delights

The ceremony took place at a stunning summer house by the lake, owned by Jorge’s family. Here the couple had the freedom of a non-traditional wedding. They adorned the yard with DIY details, crafting a space that felt uniquely theirs. Under the shade of the trees of the property, they got married with the lake as their backdrop.

Capturing the Charm of Ajijic

Following the ceremony, we ventured into the heart of Ajijic for their photoshoot. Bustling with life, the lakeside offers a vibrant mix of Mexican charm. Street food vendors, local bars, and even a basketball court, all became stages for capturing their memories using the town’s unique energy.

As the sun dipped down below the horizon, we captured the last frame with the stars and the Milky Way above.

A Testament to Non-Traditional Weddings

Rebeca and Jorge’s wedding is a testament to the beauty and freedom that comes with a non-conventional celebration. The intimacy of the gathering allowed them to truly cherish each moment with their loved ones, creating a day filled with laughter love, and pure joy.
