This Sayulita elopement was one of the most unique days I have photographed. Helene and Katie have been best friends for years, so they decided to elope on the same day: two separate ceremonies, one with Cody and one with Brandon, in the same beautiful place.
Two Ceremonies at a Villa Overlooking Sayulita
Both ceremonies took place at the Airbnb villa where they were staying, with views over the town and the Pacific Ocean. Each couple had their own moment and their own vows, while their best friends were right there to celebrate with them.

Why Sayulita Is Perfect for an Elopement
Sayulita is a colorful surf town about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. It feels more authentic and relaxed than the big resorts, with cobblestone streets, local restaurants and beaches where you can watch the surfers at sunset. It is a perfect backdrop for couples who want something simple and personal.

Portraits Around Town and on the Beach
After the ceremonies we explored Sayulita for portraits: colorful walls, the town square and the beach as the sun went down. Each couple had time for their own photos, and we also took a few of all four together, which they loved.
